Komodo Island is the New 7 Wonders of The World
– Komodo Island Permanent Entry Nomination, after the New 7 Wonders
Foundation has threatened to strike out the participation of the island
of Komodo in the event the election of the New 7 Wonders of the world.
Decision of the persistence of dragons
in the nomination was announced by the organizers New7Wonders voting,
the New7Wonders Foundation on February 7, 2011.
This decision was taken because of the
large support that called for the island of Komodo stay logged in as
nominations New 7 Wonders. Similarly, as stated by the President of New 7 Wonders, Bernard Weber.
Although Komodo island remains a
finalist in the New 7 Wonders of Nature, but the Ministry of Culture and
Tourism of RI omitted from the Official Supporting Committee.
Although this decision seems to be still
leaves the question, at least it does not diminish the hope most of the
people of Indonesia as if the threat of removal from the island of
Komodo New 7 Wonders finalists actually dropped.
